THE 2026 YOU ARE ENOUGH 5K BROUGHT US TOGETHER TO HELP US FEEL WORTHY, SEEN, AND SUPPORTED.
What an amazing day it was for the Fourth Annual YOU ARE ENOUGH 5K! The weather was perfect and the vibe was happy, supportive, and giggly! People who attend this event always seem to be so happy to be with one another as strangers and friends. The event continues to help all feel that they are seen and they are supported when they do not feel worthy. It is that simple! I started this campaign to simply help people lean into their enough for themselves and help others do the same! We are one and we can be mirrors for one another to help us see our beauty.
This year we had more than 500 participants and some pretty cool vendors such as happy Products, Gitana Cafe, Uncle Stavros, the Yellow Jersey Patisserie, Kinecta Credit Union, Grata Healthcare, PlayOn Relief, NOW Massage, and Orange Door Spaces. We had an amazing DJ by the name of Angelo DiLeva who kept the tunes going strong until 1:00 PM, and of course, our one and only Ray Jackson, a city council member for Hermosa Beach who played the role of MC, cheerleader, and supporter of the WE aspect behind the event. We also had 13 year old Mae, who sang the National Anthem with such grace and style. We had folks who created their own groups and had a daughter push her mother in a wheelchair while also having a young man by the name of Jordan, founder of PlayOn Relief, who did squats on the entire course!
Overall, the mission of the event was a success. Even if it was for a mere few hours, we came together as a ONE to remind one another that we all struggle with feeling enough from time to time and that we are not alone when we do not feel worthy. It was a beautiful event and I can't wait to put on the big one, the Fifth Annual YOU ARE ENOUGH 5K that will be held in Hermosa Beach in May 2027. Hope to see you there!
